Celebration time?

I said that I wanted to do a short story for an upcoming anthology. The deadline is in September and I wasn't sure it was a good idea to try for one so soon from now. Especially since I have my first novel and revisions coming up soon. I just now finished the rough draft of the short story. I am looking forward to seeing what the publisher thinks of it.
